my school is not schooling
intro
so today is a Monday😭 yeah they all suck. but i get to school and everything is normal i drop my lunch off in my locker put my backpack away and run to go play.
strange sounds
so we have these emergency speakers throughout campus they are just kind of like megaphones on the walls that will go off in a fire or they sometimes play Halloween music through them. but this morning something else happened, one of them was making a hsssss hsuuh shd huu noise and i did not think much of it
untill we got into class
lights off. yup no light (besides sunlight) and our teacher goes it’s soft start, which means we can play card games and stuff. but then when we finish doing soft start he gathers us around and says “so i have something to tell you” “the power is not really working”.
the day
throughout the day there were accommodations that had to be made due to the power outage but kind of normal day
elaborating on the power
It was not really an outage the power was just WAY less then we needed like the lights would flicker when they are on. Small lights would work but nothing that took to much power.
the end of the day
I was talking to our principal at the end of the day and then i asked him “ do you know what happened” (before i continue i must mention that our teacher ether lied to us about what happened by not telling us or he did not know) and then he said “oh yeah a squirrel chewed through the transformer from the power line to our school”
final conclusion
It was weird:)
